Aqueous based, resin bonded dry film lubricant coating applied on fasteners to facilitate make-up torque. These acts as a barrier coating to provide excellent corrosion resistance. These are used as a top coat on different types of base coats like zinc/phosphate/ceramic sacrificial coatings. Ceramic base with 1424 gives excellent corrosion resistance upto 5000Hrs on salt spray test. Operating temperature for these coatings are -20ºC to 175ºC continuous and -20ºC to 200ºC intermittent.
